In Berlin^^
After the epic interailing saga - well, three weeks is hardly epic but squeezing in Berlin, Krakow, Vienna, Budapest, Vienna again and Prague certainly felt it - it looks like it'll be the summer of the 'mini-trip'.
Glasgow: tick! I LOVE GLASGOW.
Coming up: Edinburgh with the gals later this month, Portugal with boyfriend around the end of August, Offset with everyone in the whole world ever - it would seem - in early September, than Greece - Crete? Athens? Rhodes? with Ma & Pa in late September.
I'M SO EXCITED FOR EVERYTHING. I will have no money but I don't care.
PS don't click this if you had plans to be productive tonight.

One day you shall be mine - for reals. This is a Toyota Supra, my future 3-litre muscle car beast-baby (photos nicked from ebay). If you don‘t care about cars you don’t have to read on, but I must indulge.
My current Peugeot 106 is fairly nippy for a littlun, however I am in need of some meat - a desire not doubt inherited from Pearse (who'll I'll be recieving lessons in driving powerful rear wheel drive cars from...). So. I’ll after a 1997-1999 twin turbo, 6-speed manual, unmodified Supra, a Japanese import. I'll have to be driving it like a granny for months while I learn to cope with the power, but it'll be worth it!
I had had my eyes on this little beauty (and still do):

Pontiac Firebird Trans Am (photo pinched from the Pontiac website). A proper American muscle car (5.7 litre V8 engine, fucking hell), goes like stink, similar price range to the Supra. Do you know Knight Rider, that 80s TV show with David Hasselhoff driving the talking, thinking car? Well, yes, that was an old Trans Am.
But it's just not practical at the moment - it's too big, too heavy, too thirsty, too rare over here - obtaining parts would be a nightmare...
That plus the fact that American cars have a piss-poor reputation for reliability and no way could I afford to be getting it fixed all the time on top of insurance & other maintenance. Toyota = Japanese = excellent & built like a brick shithouse. Pontiac = one day. When I’m rich - HAHA. When Cyan’s rich. Plan!
A guy from work asked what my parents thought about me getting a 3-litre sports car when I was 23ish. I said “They think it’s an excellent idea. In fact, my dad suggested the Supra!” This is true.

I will be poor. But it will be oh so worth it.
All Tomorrow's Parties this weekend! Yeeeaaaahhh.

Got interviewed for a job at Blue Cross, didn't get it. I think they were looking for someone genuinely part-time - they did seem a little bemused at the idea of me working 6 days a week & keeping up with college work & still having time to sleep, eat etc. Oh well, I will not be rich but I shall have my weekends :)
Life is good though - Cyan had a wonderful birthday weekend, this weekend I'm seeing Becky who's down from Edinburgh, I've planned MY birthday (Rock N Bowl Club - a 50s club complete with burlesque and bowling lanes!), I got 86% and 90% in my end-of-unit exams at college. Coming up: Depeche Mode at the O2 (I got Cyan & I standing tickets for his birthday), All Tomorrow's Parties festival at Butlin's (the only way to do festivals for sure), with My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth & De La Soul. And I got new boots. And I have black hair.
I'm gonna go walk the dog now.

Halloween was fun :D
It shouldn't have been - went to some place in Dalston which was billed as AWESOME SEMI-ILLEGAL KERAZY WAREHOUSE PARTY, which ended up just being in some shitty snooker hall with a proper school disco vibe going on (not in a fun, trashy way either. It just felt a bit awkward).
We left quite shortly, many plans were made but never realised, so we ended up just hanging out on the street for hours, eventually getting the nightbus back to Camille's. It was awesome fun, everyone got all dressed up and got stupid drunk, which I haven't done in a very long time. Smirnoff ICE YES.
I have an interview with the Blue Cross on Thursday for a saturday job, my boss doesn't know yet. Uh-oh.
PS I was a puppet! I have more photos somewhere round here...

My old blog can be read here: http://l0lren.livejournal.com/ (that's l0lren with a zero).
So, I abandoned LJ because most of my friends are over here on blogspot. So I followed them. I’m still going to active on LJ, but only really for communities.
LAME.
I'm working at Club Antichrist tomorrow, it’s a MEDICAL theme this time. I don’t know quite how themed it’s going to be – from what I can gather so far, the ushers and usherettes are going to be dressed up as evil nurses/doctors… but I don’t know what else. We’ll see. Whatever, it’s always a good night. I don’t know what I’m wearing yet, but I’m definitely not dressing up as a naughty nurse. Not that I’ve been asked to. Look at this sexy flyer ja.

For some reason today I was remind of this:
Creepy creepy psychedelic Salad Fingers.
I was also reminded, after having consumed a great many (well, two) at work, that I don’t really get this current obsession with cupcakes. Yes they’re pretty, but that’s it really: they’re not the nicest of cakes, they’re almost always powdery and overly sweet and just a little bit tasteless.
And cupcake tattoos are lame.
